From my summer visit to Wisconsin, quintessentially beautiful in every season.

I love Horicon Marsh in central Wisconsin. When I was a student at Ripon College, friends and I would drive here to watch and listen to migrating Canada geese, heading south. Unforgettable. (Horicon Marsh, WI, June 2017) This is quintessential Wisconsin with its dairy farms, and best viewed along County Road #49. Some things never change… (Central Wisconsin, June 2017) Seriously, this is not morbid. It’s the graveyard on my Ripon College campus where we’d hang out at night. And… it certainly helped keep one’s perspective on life and what truly is most important. (Ripon College, WI, June 2017) Built by Frank Lloyd Wright, SC Johnson world headquarters and research tower was the first place I ever worked. At age 17, I won a typing contest – fastest typist in all three Racine, Wisconsin high schools – and the prize was a job typing here. (I think playing piano several hours a day helped my speed and dexterity.) Kinda cool, got lots of free Johnson Wax products, and the typing came in handy for my TV news career. First time back.
