Just a quick note…

Just a quick note that I will be posting more “public” stories soon. It’s been a while!

I often write and post stories on my web site for family and relatives only, with password access to those stories.  They are stories of our lives, our ancestors, our struggles and our losses – especially as more of our aged relatives grow ill and die.  Many times it just doesn’t seem appropriate to share such things with strangers, and the entire world.

I think it’s a good decision.  But soon… there will be more.

Coming Up…

I’ll be focusing on breakthrough research in genetic cancers, and a video I volunteered to create with a top geneticist in this field here in Seattle. He’s so dedicated, working tirelessly to find solutions – and perhaps cancer cures – for mysterious DNA mutations that wreak havoc on health, lives, and longevity.

I'm with Uzbek TV news photographer Azizjon A. at Seattle's Kerry Park – and just noticed I'm wearing the colors not only of the Seattle Seahawks but also of Uzbekistan: green and blue! (March 2013)

On the other end of the spectrum,  I’ll also detail a second volunteer stint with an Uzbek TV news crew visiting Seattle via the State Department and Seattle-Tashkent Sister City Association.  I worked with a first-ever-in-Seattle Uzbek TV news crew a few years back; it was such a blast – and the Uzbeks were so absolutely top-notch.  One journalist contacted me recently and asked if I’d meet up with them when a new Uzbek TV crew comes to town.  And – I said “Sure!”
